Sunflowers captivate me with their striking beauty and vitality; they truly stand as the monarchs of all flowers. In this artwork, I aimed to amplify the sunflower’s majesty, placing it atop a cushion of leaves, reminiscent of how a queen is shielded by her loyal knights and guards. The background of this painting is inspired by the great artist Fantin Latour one of the floral and still life artists whose paintings inspire me greatly.
